They were confident they could take any concerns to the management and would be taken seriously. They were certain managers would take action where appropriate. Staff members told us their management team was accessible and approachable and dealt effectively with any concerns they raised. They also said they would feel confident about reporting any concerns or poor practice. Staff told us the manager was open with them and always communicated what was happening at the service and with the people they support.”

Saturday Care Hub Assistant Vacancy

At Q1Care Limited, we are a bespoke provider of at home support to Private clients. We are looking for a Saturday Care Hub Assistant based in our Care Hub in Goring, Oxon.

You will assist the Managing Director and the Community Engagement Co-ordinator in continuing to create a ‘Hub’ where staff and clients will be able to meet and complete regular activities and provide support to our carers who are in the field assisting elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes.

Although previous experience is not required, you will need to have similar qualities to a carer – clearly spoken, trustworthy, punctual, well presented and a warm and sensitive way with people. You will need to be creative and able to contribute ideas to enhance the services at The Hub.

You will also be responsible for doing most of the housekeeping at The Hub, including vacuuming, watering the plants, keeping the kitchen/bathroom tidy & clean.

Skills required include: computer literate including data entry, tactful and understand confidentiality, listening skills and able to fill in forms accurately (including on-line).

We aim to become ‘the place’ for people to congregate in Goring if they are looking for adult support, company or advice on any aspects of care in the home.

We offer a one stop shop for all advice relating to adult community care provision and are planning a range of activities, groups and education sessions.

Home Care Worker Vacancies

£9.75-£14 per hour + mileage (0.40p per mile – all mileage between home and client paid) + holiday pay + homecare training.

Rostering Coordinator Vacancy – 20 hrs per week

Q1Care Limited is now seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join our team, based in Theale, Reading.

We are a bespoke provider of at home support to private clients. Our founder has a previous nursing career spanning 15 years and is very proud of the reputation amongst the local community as well as the great benefits we offer our very dedicated carers. We focus on longer visits ensuring our clients have the time and attention they need. We also believe in building relationships to provide the very best care and support possible, with a GOOD overall rating with the CQC that we are very proud of.

The purpose of the Rostering Coordinator is to assist the Registered Manager and Assistant Care Manager in providing a quality service by a team of trustworthy, well trained and reliable Care Workers.

The main task of the Rostering Coordinator is the allocation of home care calls to Care Workers. You will have the responsibility of ensuring that our care delivery is on time, with the right Care Workers who have the right skills to support each Client.

The Rostering Coordinator is in the hub of all the activity, ensuring effective communication between the Care Workers and Clients at all times.

The Rostering Coordinator is responsible for assigning the appropriate Care workers to our Clients and ensure that our Clients receive continuity of care by ensuring they have the same Care Workers visit them – this might be a small team to consider sickness and holiday cover. The Rostering Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the Client knows who their personal care team are. You will need to keep the carers travel time to the minimum, by making the travel routes efficient. This involves efficiently assigning the rotas, using an electronic rostering system.

The post holder will report directly to the Registered Manager / Assistant Care Manager.

Administrative experience and excellent IT skills are a requirement of this post. It would also be an advantage if applicants have some experience in rostering staff.

The successful applicant will have genuine care, compassion and respect for others as well as excellent communication, time management, planning and organisational skills. Additionally, be able to cope with pressure and change.

Working week

The working pattern will preferably be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
